Castaway in a Rabelo Boat

In 2022, for the launch of Castaway, a book about Greece and the poetry of life at sea, we hosted an event aboard a traditional Rabelo boat in our hometown, Porto. The idea was to bring a fragment of the book’s atmosphere to life through a slow journey along the Douro River. Photography, books, and salted chocolates shaped like sardines—crafted specially in collaboration with Chocolataria Equador—came together to create a sensory experience that echoed the essence of Castaway: the rhythm of travel, the taste of salt, and the stories carried by the sea.
